President Shogren presents White Paper – Moving Forward in 2013. Regarding 2013 City budget deliberations, the Chamber supports the need for continued capital investment, and agrees that Capital Budget does need some flexibility to move downwards in challenging years but also to move upwards as revenues increase. Infrastructure challenges are facing not just North Bay but all municipalities and we applaud Council and staffs continuing efforts to address this, yet being mindful of what the community can afford.
