On Thursday, August 22nd, 2013 the North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce will be announcing the annual 2013 Extra Mile grand prize winner and awarding them with the $1,000 grand prize for excellence in customer service, during the Extra Mile Cruise.
The Extra Mile Cruise is on board the Chief Commanda II, cruising into Callander Bay during the most beautiful time of the day, providing the most spectacular view of Lake Nipissing’s sunsets. In addition to enjoying magnificent sights, this two hour cruise will include a BBQ dinner, music, and lots of fun! Boarding will be at 6:00pm, and the cruise will run from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
Join us in recognizing excellence in customer service, not only by nominating someone for going the ‘extra mile’, but also by joining us in congratulating the grand prize winner on the cruise. All nominees will also be recognized, as their nomination stories will be on display. This recognition acknowledges the performance and contributions in making North Bay a better place to live and encourages visitors to return to our city.
Don’t forget to dress up, as this year’s theme is 80’s! There will be prizes awarded for best costumes, so break out the shoulder pads & mullets!
