Congratulations Alex, Young Professional of the Month for May 2014! Alex (Alexandra) Rogerson is an Economic Development Officer with Innovation Initiative Ontario North (IION). IION is a Regional Innovation Centre (RIC) located in North Bay at Nipissing University /Canadore College and is part of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE). The location leverages synergies with the existing expertise at both Nipissing University and Canadore College campuses.
Alex works with innovators, technology based companies, entrepreneurs and researchers assisting them to reach their innovative goals. Always client driven, Alex provides expert sector business advisory service connections, assists with strategic planning, is a connector for clients to the resources required for growth and economic development and in some cases provides limited client project management.
As an Economic Development Officer Alex understands the importance of being involved with community groups. Specifically, she holds the Vice President Position for the Rotaract Club of North Bay – Nipissing and is an active member in the North Bay’s sports community, playing on a number of teams.
